[號外] Ten Years of Wikipedia celebrations

HONG KONG – On January 15, 2011, Wikipedia will celebrate her 10th anniversary. As part of global community, the Hong Kong chapter will organize two events for such occasion.

In the afternoon of the exact date of the anniversary, we will have a barbecue party in Yuen Long, featuring review of milestones of the local and global community and video chat with other communities in their nearby region.

Also we will have a stall in Chinese New Year’s Fair in Kwai Chung District, where you can purchase our latest souvenirs, and get our promotional materials for free. The stall will be No. 101 in Kwai Chung Sports Ground during 28th January to 3rd February.

We also accept sponsorship and various forms of co-operation, please don’t hesitate to contact our executives for further information.

香港 － 二零一一年一月十五日，維基百科將會慶祝上線十週年，本會理事會於本年十二月二日之會議確定舉辦以下活動，和全球各地維基社群共襄盛舉：

十週年正日下午，本會會在元朗西鐵燒烤場舉行週年誌慶派對，屆時將回顧維基百科十年來在本地和世界各地的發展，並會與附近地區的社群舉行視像連線，同喜同賀。

另維基百科十週年，適逢華人新春喜慶，本會特在葵青區辛卯年年宵市場設攤檔乙個（101號檔），發售最新紀念品，以及免費派發最新宣傳品。年宵攤檔位於葵涌運動場，展銷期為二零一一年一月二十八日至二月三日（農曆年廿三至年三十）。
